Chapter 1 of 11

What SEKTOR is

A T versus CT team battle. Besides shooting, you build fortifications, place turrets, launch drones, call in air strikes and fight in vehicles.

A match lasts 30 minutes. The team with more kills by the end wins.
You respawn right after dying, at a random point closer to your team and away from enemies.
Reserve ammo is unlimited, but you still reload the magazine.
Grenades are used up: you throw as many as you bought.
After a match the map starts again.

Bonuses are paid only for a shot from the gun in your hands: not from a vehicle or drone, not with a turret, mine or strike.
The VIP bonus and the Income upgrade come on top of the per-kill maximum.

VIP players get more starting cash, a salary bonus and a bigger kill reward, plus an arsenal discount: compare groups.

Arsenal and gear

Open the arsenal with G while holding any weapon. You cannot drop weapons with G here, and the regular CS2 buy menu is off.

Tabs: Defence, Vehicles, Weapons, Building, Upgrades and VIP.
Weapon kits are free and given on every respawn: AK-47, M4A4, M4A1-S or AWP together with a Desert Eagle. You can switch kits once every 10 seconds.
Armour with helmet: $400. Grenades: HE $300, flash $200, smoke $300, incendiary $400. Your own grenades hurt you too, teammates' grenades do not.
The armour-piercing kit ($3000) until the map ends: ×1.15 damage to players and ×2 to vehicles and buildings.
A card shows the price, what the purchase does and how many more you can take out of the limit, counting the team limit and cooldowns.

Rank XP Building

Chapter 5 of 11

Building

You build from parts: wall, door, loophole, floor and stairs. After you buy one, a transparent preview appears in front of you.

E places it, R cancels. A part takes a few seconds to assemble.
Parts snap to a grid: a wall stands on the ground, on another wall or on a floor, a floor rests on walls. You can build up to three storeys.
Defensive buildings and the mine from the Defence tab go on level ground with room around them: not on another building, a steep slope or right next to someone else's.
Every player has limits on parts and buildings. The arsenal shows how many you have left.
E upgrades a turret, Tesla, dispenser, money dispenser and EW jammer: look at the building and press E.

Repairs

Repairs are done with the torch: you get it on every respawn.

Take out the torch and hold LMB while looking at your building or vehicle up close.
The torch uses up charge. When you stop repairing, it starts recharging after a second or two.
You cannot repair under fire: it needs a few seconds without damage.

Building Defence

Defence

Defensive buildings fight and help on their own while you do something else.

A turret shoots the nearest enemy, further, faster and harder at higher levels.
Air defence under open sky shoots down the helicopter, drones and the Bayraktar, and has a chance to intercept mortar shells, HIMARS rockets, bombs and the air strike plane.
The EW jammer makes a dome: air strikes and the Bayraktar cannot be aimed into it, and Bayraktar missiles die inside. At level 2 the dome jams enemy drones.
A net over your position catches enemy drones coming from above.
The Tesla repairs your and allied buildings nearby while they are not under fire and zaps enemy grenades out of the air.
The dispenser heals and repairs the armour of nearby teammates. The money dispenser (VIP only) gives nearby teammates money every 5 seconds.
The siren sounds the alarm when enemy rockets or drones are near.
A mine blows up under an enemy, but a shot destroys it.

Repairs Strikes

Strikes

The mortar, air strike, Bayraktar and HIMARS are fired from stations.

Buy a station in the arsenal, place it with E and press E again to get in.
WASD moves the aim, SHIFT and CTRL change the height, LMB strikes, F exits.
The Bayraktar circles the map on its own for 60 seconds while you steer 4 missiles with the mouse.
After launch the mortar, HIMARS and air strike station hides its interface: E switches the view, F exits. The Bayraktar keeps its interface.
A station is single-use: it is removed after the strike. You can buy a new one after the cooldown.
The mortar and Bayraktar hit with no warning. The air strike bomb falls after 3 seconds, the HIMARS salvo after 4.
There are no warning banners. The Siren building also warns about enemy rockets and drones.
Air strikes and the Bayraktar cannot be aimed into an enemy EW dome.

Defence Vehicles

Vehicles

Buy vehicles in the arsenal, place them with E, then press E again to get in. Exit with F.

FPV drone: WASD to fly, SPACE and CTRL up and down, SHIFT faster, LMB detonate.
The FPV blast hurts you too if you detonate it nearby.
Combat drone: WASD to fly, SPACE and CTRL up and down, LMB fire, R reload.
Tank: W and S throttle and reverse, A and D turn, SPACE brake, mouse turns the turret, LMB cannon, RMB machine gun, SHIFT zoom.
Helicopter: WASD to fly, SPACE and CTRL up and down, LMB machine gun, RMB rockets.
The tank has one seat. Only the owner drives and fires the tank or flies the helicopter.
If a tank or helicopter is destroyed, its crew dies with it.
Each team has two tanks and one helicopter, and one player can hold either a tank or a helicopter. They serve for 6 minutes.
A vehicle takes a few seconds to assemble, and you cannot get in until it is done.
The cooldown starts when the vehicle is out: destroyed, its service time is over, the station has fired or the owner has left. Tank and helicopter: 3 minutes, FPV drone and mortar: 30 seconds, combat drone: 60, HIMARS and air strike: 75, Bayraktar: 90.
You fly a drone while standing on the ground. If you stop controlling it, the drone hovers and lands, and self-destructs a while later without an operator.

Strikes Upgrades

Upgrades

Upgrades are bought in the arsenal, have three levels and last until the end of the map. A level costs the price times its number.

Speed: you run 4% faster per level.
Jump: 8% less gravity per level.
Toughness: 6% less damage per level.
Income: +$60 per kill per level.
Stealth: enemy turrets spot you 15% closer and mines trigger 25% closer per level. At level three mines do not trigger at all.
Regeneration: +2 HP/s per level after 6 seconds without being hit.
Vampirism: +10 HP per kill per level.
Blast guard: 15% less explosion damage per level.
Breaker: 10% more damage to vehicles and buildings per level.
Engineer: your new buildings are 10% sturdier per level.

Tips for beginners

Spend your first money on armour and a few walls at your position.
A turret by a path the enemy often uses pays off quickly.
Keep the torch handy: repairing is cheaper than buying again.
Heard a siren? Move: a strike lands in a few seconds.
Save up for a tank or helicopter together with your team: while you save, your teammates hold the line.
